Expecting Thee

The bar is set high above thee
The distance in between appears to be achievable
Wonder sets in on how those begin to see
That the one in front seems to be improvable

Lacking the prediction of the sets of standard
The timid attempt to strive to the bar once more
Realization hits as the contact from the head collided hard
With the floors, thee will not be like once before

Opinions from those fade into the background
For thee unbeknownst the capability
Despite, thee has finally knows the sound,
The reason to use all thee ability

Truth is that there is no motivation
When we cannot live up to expectation

  1. i really like the flow of your poem, but the syllables aren't 10 per line. also the line "despite, thee has finally knows the sound" doesn't make much sense to me. other than that it's really good rhyming and it flows out of your mouth.
